You will need 1 computer setup per CA and Doctor. You may use double-up one computer for both scheduling and the main interface. If you prefer, you can run the scheduler on the same computer with a separate monitor or on an entirely separate computer and monitor.

Data vs. Document vs. Computer Backups

- You will need to provide your own backup for Documents (est. $5/mo from Microsoft OneDrive).

Data Storage & Backup
The data (all information) that you enter into Innate including your practice logo and your electronic signature are securely stored and backed up with automatic geo-redundant storage (on Microsoft's cloud servers at two remote regional locations). This is all handled for you through Seamless Innate's cloud database services with Microsoft Azure. Since your data is stored on the cloud and not on your computer, you will never have to worry about backups or restoring backups at your office when it comes to the information in your Innate system. If your computer were broken or damaged, you would simply install Innate on a new computer and link up to your subscription. Your data would all be there for you.
Document Storage & Backup
Many offices scan and store intake paperwork and other patient-related information on their office server or network-attached storage. Although Innate provides document management tools on the "Patient Records" screen, the documents presented on this screen are not stored within the Innate database and are thus NOT backed up through the included cloud services. You will need to make additional considerations for the backup and secure storage of these documents. As it pertains to Innate, there are 3 folders where external documents are stored: Electronic Medical Records, Scans, and Images. The locations for these folders can be viewed in you Innate Control Panel on the Patient Tab / Records Sub-tab.
Document Backup Cloud Sync
We've observed that many offices have had issues with both permissions and lag while sharing folders, and if documents are accidentally deleted by a user, recovering them can be an inconvenience. For this reason, we recommend using Microsoft OneDrive (see link) for storage and backup of these 3 document locations. "OneDrive for Business Plan 2" includes 1TB of storage per user at the current rate of $10/mo (April 2019), and includes advanced security and compliance capabilities. Micorosft will also enter into a BAA agreement with you for HIPAA compliance. See the following document in the Microsoft Trust Center for more information.
Some of the advantages of using a cloud service such as OneDrive include bypassing network document sharing and easy access to versioning and restoration tools. Instead of the computers in your office having to communicate with each other, documents are synced directly to and from each computer to the cloud. Additionally, OneDrive allows you to restore a deleted file or even a previous version of a file (for instance after an erroneous edit was made)—all with just a couple of clicks.
Many offices are already using DropBox, and this is a fine option as well. Make sure you are on a DropBox Business plan and be sure to line up your DropBox BAA.
Full Computer Backup
In addition to storing essential documents in OneDrive or other cloud sync service, you may also want to keep a full computer backup of all files or a full "image" backup. These services are available from companies, such as Carbonite (see link, a popular choice). The advantage of a full image backup (currently about $50/mo from Carbonite and includes up to 25 computers) is that all of your software applications and settings can be restored from an image. It is essentially a clone of your computer's hard drive. You should assess your needs for additional document backup and storage based on your over-all need for applications and documents that extend beyond Innate software.
